Involving children & families

The program incorporates the national Early Years Learning Framework and is designed to meet the individual and group needs of the children. While we plan for individual developmental needs, we try to meet these needs with Interest Topics. In this way, children feel involved in the program and are able to involve their own families in what they are doing at the Centre.

Natural curiosity

Our expert educators encourage your child’s innate curiosity and ability to learn.

Encouraging all-round development

We’re deeply committed to inclusivity and equal access for all, and value every child as an individual. Through the power of community and support for all families, we help children to unlock and reach their full potential.

We respect children as active citizens with unique contributions to make. We champion the incredible and vital gift of belonging. We actively partner with parents and encourage your input.

Our multi-sensory playground

Nestled in nature, our multi-sensory playground will engage and intrigue your child. They are sure to discover our gentle brook with its rounded stones (as represented in our logo), as well as our bamboo forest, herb and vegetable garden, cubby house, mud kitchen and sandpit. Here the children play freely and have an abundance of activity choices.

Community development

Being part of the community, both local and global, is important for children as they grow and become confident beings in their world.

On a regular basis you will find the children and staff of the Centre walking the streets of our community, visiting local shops, going on outings on the train, visiting local schools, sketching surrounding environments and structures.

Children learn valuable skills such as road rules, socially appropriate behaviour and have the opportunity to participate in new experiences.
